On Saturday, April 7, 2018, the Artesian City Car Club will cruise from Albany to Americus, Georgia. The club will tour the Habitat for Humanity Global Village & Discovery Center.
Flint River Habitat for Humanity is the official charity of the 45th Anniversary Car Show, and this tour will give club members the opportunity to learn more about Habitat for Humanity’s mission and work to help build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
Immediately following the tour of the Global Village & Discovery Center, the club will also visit the offices of The Staffing People, which is co-located to the Global Village. The Staffing People are a gold-tier sponsor for the car show.
The club will be producing photos and videos at both locations for promotional purposes to raise awareness of our community contribution programs, and to produce marketing material for the October car show, so shine up your vehicles!
This event takes place immediately after the monthly breakfast, so the cruise will depart from the Wild Flour Cafe’ at 2206 Dawson Road in Albany at approximately 10:00 AM. If you are planning to cruise with the club, please join us for breakfast and be ready to depart after. If you are unable to join us for breakfast, meet us in Americus!
