SAFETY RECALL – if you have a Kidde portable fire extinguisher in your vehicle, garage, or home, you should check to see if the unit is impacted by this recall. Certain plastic-handle fire extinguishers manufactured between 1973 and 2017 have been recalled due to problems with the handle and discharge hose. If you do have a recalled fire extinguisher, the manufacturer will send you a replacement unit at no charge.
